I am grateful for so many parishioners who truly
make a difference in our lives. For all ministers at our
liturgical celebrations, without whom we would not enjoy a
smooth flowing liturgy.
For Lupe Gutierrez, Doug Beach, and Steve Olsen
who set up our video system and keep it running with more
volunteers.
For the choir members, both the adult choir and
the Spanish choir, as well as the children's choir who raised
their voices in praise.
For our part-time custodian who helped keep our
flowers blooming this summer as well as clean off the snow which
sometimes comes after he cleaned the walks.
For our Parish and Finance Councils and Council
of Ministries who have keep the parish functioning and solvent.
For the many volunteers who stuff, address, and
stamp envelopes for our many mailings. For those who
almost weekly come to insert our bulletin inserts.
For those who work at our fundraisers for each
parish. I realize this entails much work.
For Chef Sebastian and the youth of St. Paul's
who have served monthly dinners to raise funds for the building
of our new church in Pueblo West.
For the St. Paul's parishioners who await the
building of their church and have not lost hope.
For the St. Pius parishioners who welcomed the
St. Paul's parishioners into their midst to worship weekly.
It has not always been an easy adjustment, but most have been
gracious.
For all those I fail to recognize in this corner,
I am grateful. Without you, I could not perform my
priestly work.
